Last week I bought a pair of Elite Rings and a Dynamax ball. Every time I buy things like this I hear that Pin Head Hellraiser voice in my head: "Oh the fun we will have."
The rings are great, lighter then my blast straps and a little less complicated then my TRX straps they can go anywhere and are great for Zero-G exercises. All you need is a place to hang them from and you are ready to go. My biggest complaint was that my gym wasn't as friendly as I hoped they would be about me hanging them from there water pipes... Oh well.
Who has the biggest balls of them all? I do, well not quite. I opted for the ten-pound Dynamax ball so I could do more functional training with it. The thing you have to consider about any medicine ball is once you get past a certain poundage it just becomes another weight. Go with something that is a little lighter and you will be able to do a little more with it.

Exercise Much?
Welcome to 2008 and I hope you are hitting the gym keeping up with your New Year's resolution to get into better shape then you were in high school.
This year has really started out well for me with the launch of some new services through TrainerForce, an online personal training resource. My client base is also pretty solid right now, having added about six new people to the group. I am also going to take a Spinning certification through Mad Dog in late March and expand into the group fitness arena.

These are my resolutions for 2008:
- Write bi-weekly in my blog
- Write a fitness/wellness/health article every week and try to get it published
- Start and keep up with martial arts
- Never miss schedule clients and cause sessions conflicts
- Create a small health and fitness empire
Yep, this is going to be a big year!
